The almost latest from Gottick Headquarters

(We apologize to our Swedish audience for writing this in English, but we know for a fact that you guys are far better at English than our English-speaking audience is at Swedish.)

Survived Gotchon. Again. Love to everybody. Thanks to Rany, Emma & Sabina for keeping me company.

2010-02-15
The year has storted slowly.

2010-01-10
A new year....

2009-12-30
Gisslaved. We love you!

2009-11-15

2009-11-08
Borås - you are METAL!!!

2009-10-30
They say Essen was fun. Despite us not being there in the flesh. Thanks to the cool kids from Jofasa we still sold some stuff. You rock, folks.

2009-09-30
Two weekends of convention mayhem. Again.

2009-08-02
The English version of Scoop works very well now. But we will not be able to get it out in time for Essen this year. Unfortunately and blame it on the world economy.

2009-06-15
An English version of Scoop is in the works and we might get it out in Essen this year if gramar and world economy allows. If we can somehow kick the German gramar into line a German version might happen too.

2009-05-30
Lincon - allright. This is how we looked this year.

2009-04-20
Thanks Rick Loomis for flashing our stuff at the GAMA show.

2009-04-15
THANK YOU GOTHCON!!! Gothenburg was fine as usual. Thanks everybody who came by. Thanks to Christan and Randy for helping out as usual. And thanks Tove for introducing us to the a Gotenburg concept: the bar.

2009-03-15
II've written some stuff for Fortress Ameritrash. Go over there and have a look if you are seriously bored.

2009-02-01
2009 was supposed to be a blast, but with our local currency (Swedish Krona) sinking like a rock our chances of getting the planned games out in time is sining too. We pay for the printing in Euro and right now the Euro is up 20% since last year. A lof of percent if you deal with a product that costs 10 Euro in the end..

2009-01-10
2009 will be a blast. At least we thougth so.

2008-12-24
Merry everything.

2008-11-02
Back from Borås, baby. Alive. Despite icy roads and playing Vampire the Eternal Struggle for ever and ever. Thanks everybody for a fine weekend.

2008-10-28
Survived Spiel. Essen was a blast, again. And exhausting. Though less people came this year a lot of people came by to see the Gottick stuff after reading about us on the web. Very encouraging. Thanks to all of you.

This makes Anders Fager an official List Person to be tracked down by the List People. Take note. Turning into a List Person is a big thing in these circumstances.

2008-10-13
Thanks everybody who came by at the Stockholm Spelkonvent. Both at friday's party and at the lecture I held eight hour later. It was great to be able to show the first parts of the artwork for the Monster Under the Bed.

2008-08-05
KATRINEHOLM - WE LOVE YOU. Say what you want about Kattrineholm - supposedly the most boring small town in Sweden- but they run the cooziest convention on the planet. And all other planets too. Thank you everybody.

2008-07-28
Talavera, a game I made for MultiMan Publishing, has been nominated for a Charles S. Roberts Award for Best Pre-World War II Boardgame. Nice. Read more here.

2008-07-21
Spent a nice weekend in Halmstad. This year the torrential rains were limited to about half the time we were there. A great improvement. Thank you all who helped out with Fat Load. The game is really getting fatter by the minute.

2008-07-02
Man, Falköping was great fun. If more people knew what can happen in a small Swedish town we would have hordes of people marching towards them. Thanks everybody.

2008-05-05
We had a fun & loooong weekend in Linköping. The convention had a super hero theme and Fanny The Blue Girl won the Gottick Best Costume Contest by a mile. We also had the pleasure to hang out with JKLM Games who came to visit from the UK. All in all a great weekend.

2008-03-24

2008-03-04
Gary Gygax dies. Sad. Without his creations my part of the world would look very different.

2008-02-20
Februari meant flu and crappy weather and flu and conventions and a cold. Thanks Randal, Tomas & Dan for keeping me sane.

2008-02-01
Kill Someone has been renamed "Supermarket Psycho" and will hit the world around easter. Come to our glamourous release-party in Gothenburg, easter weekend. WHY RENAMING? There is no point in have a name that will reduce sales. Just that simple. Besides the games has already been renamed five times or so.

2008-01-10
"Kill Someone" - first cads on display.

This is how we will do it. The web shop will start taking pre-orders in early January. Available for ordering will be R.A.F, Comrade Koba & Happy Landing plus one or two more new games. The release-schedule will then depend on which games that catches your interest the quickest.

2006 - 11 - 20

Drakattack has unfortunately been dropped from our schedule.

2006 - 11 - 06

Thanks to all of you that helped us make the BSK Convention such a nice experience. You all proved that one can show ten guys and gals a deck of cards and say "yes, this is the new game - lets figure out how it plays."

2006 - 10 - 25

We have survived Essen 06. The crush sure was incredible. Thanks to all of you who came by to have a look.

2006 - 10 - 10

Check Please is out. Hooray for us!

2006 - 10 - 01

Comrade Koba & R.A.F has so far sold quite well in the Mark I Basement versions. Hence we will move on and make larger print runs of both games. This means two things. Foremost, we did not go broke after one very costly production and, if you own one of the Basement Mk I copies; lock them up in the family vault.
This time this change in production means that both games will be out of circulation for three or four weeks. In the future we will cut down the delay between the Mk I and Mk II runs, but right now we are still learning.

2006 - 09 - 20

We are happy to schedule Check Please & Drakattack for release in mid October. Both games will only be available in Swedish for this first run.

2006 - 09 - 10

We will eventually start a mail order service. Though we do recommend that those of you living in Sweden were we have a working distribution, pester your local store to carry our games. Gaming stores is what brings new people to the hobby. Keep them alive.
